Comic #1803

1 Draak: Draak smell fresh air.
2 Alvissa: I can see daylight ahead. We've found the exit!
3 Lambert: {emerging from the tunnel into sunlight} Dwalin did it! He led us safely through the mountains!
4 Mordekai: {looking back into the tunnel} Bit of a shame we left him back there to get massacred by orcs.

Not as much of a shame as it is for Dwalin.

2018-08-20 Rerun commentary: Looking at this now, I wondered why I'd put the diagonal shadow darkening the underground passage near the entrance in the fourth panel, but not the third one. And then I realised Kyros's orb is illuminating that area in the third panel.

Anyone following my comments about showing motion of characters in comics left-to-right versus right-to-left will have some understanding of the significance of the way in which they emerge from the passage here.
