Thanks to cappadocius for the punchline, suggested online when I despaired of writer's block.
I was originally going to go with a standard four panels and something like this:
Panel 1:But I figured Haken was more loyal to the Nazi cause than that.

South America, I guess.
I really like the dense jungle feel of this strip. Well, dense except for the white wall behind.
