Comic #2157

1 Monty: Don't worry. I'm sure Sallah is in Berlin right now, planning a way to rescue us.
2 Ginny: You know, if just after you said that, we learnt Sallah was somewhere else, that would be funny.
3 {beat}
4 Monty: If it wasn't such a cliché, maybe.

It's such a cliché, that of course there's a TV Tropes page all about it.

Herein subverted.

2021-03-28 Rerun commentary: They make surprisingly little progress across the room for four panels of walking.

It can be interesting to examine how the legs of the walking character do or don't swap positions across the panels.

Monty: Left foot forward, left, right, right.

Ginny: Left, left, left, left.

Erwin: Right, right, left, left.

Haken: Right, right, right, right.

Although I suppose it's expected for Ginny to be on the far left, and Haken to be on the far right.
