Comic #2278

1 Spanners: Wait a minute. This is how we began our adventures in space.
2 Spanners: Serron destroying the time machine must have created a time rift that sent us back a few years.
3 Paris: You mean we have to live through all that again?!
4 Serron: Well you don't. You died less than halfway through.
4 Paris: Oh good. Something to look forward to.

If you don't think about it much, knowing the future sounds kind of cool.

Think about it a bit, and you realise just how horrible it would be.

2022-03-19 Rerun commentary: I'm very pleased that I managed to find a way to bring Paris back to life without resorting to any sort of weird resurrection shenanigans. Destroying the universe and sending people back in time to restart their stories in a canonically different manner is peanuts compared to that.
