1 Monty: Here's the train. We jump on board and hide in the toilets when the guard comes along to inspect tickets.
2 Prof. Jones: Not this carriage. The next one.
3 Monty: What? Do you see a guard?
4 Prof. Jones: No. The next carriage is first class!

When you're young and relatively poor, first class travel seems like such an overindulgent luxury that you wonder why anyone would ever pay for the privilege.

As you get older, you start to realise the attraction.

2024-09-05 Rerun commentary: And then there's that trick where an airline suddenly upgrades you from economy to business class for no apparent reason. This happened to me once on a flight back from Tokyo to Sydney. Best flight ever.

But now they know they've got me craving that experience again...
