2 Luke: Oh, come on Uncle Owen! They don't even remember being on Tatooine before! Their memories are shot!

Thanks to Mac Moyer who kindly sent me a LEGO^® set 7110, which included the minifigs used in this comic, as well as a cool landspeeder model which you'll probably be seeing in the nearish future. Yes, that's meant to be the old Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it makes a pretty good Uncle Owen without any modification.

2012-10-23 Rerun commentary: Heh, typical. I finally got an old Obi-Wan Kenobi, minifig, and the first thing I use him for is to portray a different character.

Notice the subtle explicit use of "Uncle Owen" by Luke, to point out that this is actually Uncle Owen, and not Obi-Wan Kenobi, just in case you were confused by that?

I like the tall, sand-coloured wall pieces used here. I ended up using them a lot for walls in various comics. You'll see them reappearing many times if you keep an eye out. They were good for comics because they could be built and taken apart much more quickly than more standard shaped LEGO bricks.
