Today's strip is by the mysterious un-named author of the most excellent Abstruse Goose, a webcomic that mixes science geekiness and social poignancy in an ever-intriguing mix of awkwardness and sheer joy.
This strip probably deserves an explanatory annotation. Writing such an annotation would take a considerable amount of time, so here's one I prepared earlier. It's also worth noting that this strip might be consider a somewhat more literal take on this Abstruse Goose strip.
