4 Lambert: Instead, what we've got now is such a slow pace, it's more like a plod device.

I'm flushing out my old ideas file, compiled over many years, and this one seemed appropriate for the current state of the quest.
Apparently plod in Czech means either fruit, or fetus. Now that would be great for punning.
