I recently went through all my gaming miniatures, sorting them out and putting them into carry cases so I could take them to a friend's house for playing Dungeons & Dragons, to use as NPCs and combat opponents on the gaming table. I've been running the introductory 5th Edition adventure, Lost Mine of Phandelver with a group of friends who don't have a lot of roleplaying experience. It's actually a really good adventure, with lots to do, lots of interesting NPCs to meet and interact with, and a wide open sense that the heroes can choose to do whatever they want without needing to be railroaded into following a linear adventure. Consider this a recommendation.
Anyway, one result of sorting through all my available miniatures is that I dug out some that will also make good comic characters. As seen here.
