I was looking at this strip, thinking what to write here as a comment, and I noticed that the clouds in panels 2 weren't blurry enough. So I redid it, with blurrier clouds to match the depth of field better. I'm much happier now. You can see the original version below - notice how the clouds in panel 2 look too sharp?

Actually the clouds never look entirely convincing. I use Photoshop's "generate clouds" filter, which makes cloud-like patterns, but they're a bit too structured and isotropic to pass convincingly for a typical sky as seen in a photo. I'll just claim that this is part of the charm of my comics.
