4 Prof. Jones: So you think this tiny spire of rock is it, and not that great big extensive plateau in the distance over there? {pointing at a much bigger plateau off about 5 miles in the distance}

2013-02-19 Rerun commentary: Alas, back in the days of making these comics I was less scrupulous about crediting the image sources. But a bit of searching finds the photo used for panel 4 on a bunch of web sites. It's not at all clear what the original source of this image is, though.
