When brainstorming this strip, I originally had Giuseppe say: "Ah! I sing Verdi!" and then launch into:
La donna è mobile
Qual piuma al vento
However the punchline eluded me, and eventually I had to redo it this way.
If anyone can tell me what the punchline would have been with Verdi, I'd be most grateful.
