I don't actually have any idea how well the Greek public transport system operates, but I figure that public transport everywhere is usually criticised by those who have to use it, so this strip is really a proxy for poking fun at shoddy public transport everywhere.

2014-01-23 Rerun commentary: I find public transport to be one of the classic "grass is always greener" topics. Everybody seems to be dissatisfied with the public transport where they live, and thinks that other cities/countries do it so much better, so why can't our local authorities get their acts together? This includes all the people in those other places.
