This time, after building the entire set and putting Mercutio at his desk, I was determined to show him there.

My original ideas for this strip were much more political. But I think this works better, in a gentle, bittersweet way.

2016-01-05 Rerun commentary: Looking back, it seems a bit odd that nobody in this office personalised their cubicles with decorations. Of course that would have made the set more complicated to rebuild, but there are ways around that.

I think if they were back in the same office these days, I might have made a better effort to personalise it a bit more. I can imagine Mercutio printing out webcomic strips to stick to his cubicle walls...
