2012-05-19 Rerun commentary: Ah, there goes Erwin, reverting to the normal font. Phew.
This strip is unusual in using the correct German article in "Der Führer" rather than the humorously incorrect "Die Führer" that became standard later in the comic. "Der" is used for a masculine noun, while "Die" is for a feminine noun, and certainly inappropriate for the noun "Führer".
