Comic #2417

1 Kyros: You want me to summon Eagles to carry us over the Orcrift Mountains?
2 Kyros: I can only summon Fire Eagles.
2 Lambert: Sure, whatever works.
3 Lambert: Although... What are Fire Eagles, exactly?
4 Kyros: Let's just say that freezing at high altitude will be the least of your worries.

Apparently Fire Eagle is also a Yahoo! location recording gadget thingumy. Which I did not know about before I wrote this strip.

And this woman's personal home page. I wonder what she'll think when she gets 40,000 hits today.

2023-03-23 Rerun commentary: And continuing the rerun theme of dead web links: Before clicking them, have a guess which one of the above two ancient Fire Eagle links still works.

Okay, done?

It looks like Yahoo! Fire Eagle died in 2013. I'm hoping Ms FireEagle is still alive and well.
