Pizza was invented in Naples, and Neapolitans still argue that they make the best and the only true pizza.

A thin, crispy crust of hand-formed, yeast-risen dough, topped with tomato, mozzarella, olive oil, and basil, and baked quickly in a hot wood-fired oven.
