2011-12-13 Rerun commentary: I liked Scooby-Doo as a kid. I fondly recall the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and The New Scooby-Doo Movies. Absolute classics.
But then they went and added Scrappy-Doo, a character so irredeemably awful that there's an entire TV Trope named after him. And it's not a complimentary one.
There are unpopular characters, characters loathed by everyone who truly loves everything else about a work of fiction... and then there's Scrappy. Something rotten, indeed.
