I asked my movie buff friend who would be a good name to have as a punchline that requires somebody known for doing enormous amounts of research and taking great pains to ensure authenticity in their films. He said David Fincher's name instantly, without needing so much as a second to think about it.

I kind of feel bad that I didn't know this myself.
