Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a stage musical composed by Stephen Sondheim, possibly the most influential musical theatre artist in American history. Sondheim unfortunately passed away recently, on 26 November, 2021.

The original production of Sweeney Todd was staged on Broadway in 1979. The role of Mrs Lovett, the principal female character who runs a London pie shop, was played by Angela Lansbury.
