1 Head Death: YES.
2 Paris: What are the alternatives?
3 Head Death: ALTERNATIVES? THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVES.
3 Paris: There are always alternatives.
4 Head Death: MR SPOCK. THE GALILEO SEVEN. HE GOT OUT OF THAT ONE. I FAIL TO SEE THE RELEVANCE.

The Galileo Seven is a classic episode of Star Trek*. In it... oh heck, you've probably seen it. If not, there's a plot synopsis here and, gosh, there's a full transcript here.
* I refuse to call it "The Original Series". For 21 years it was just Star Trek. That's good enough for me.
Five Year Mission is a band which plays Star Trek themed rock music. Before you run off covering your ears and yelling, "Too nerdy! Too nerdy!", hear me out. I was sceptical and morbidly curious at first, but after listening to some of their songs I found them catchy, clever, and executed with skill.
Their five year mission, it appears, is to release a series of five albums, each containing 16 songs. Each song is inspired by an episode of Star Trek (the original series), and they are tackling them in sequence. Currently they've released three of these albums, and I understand the fourth is coming out soon.
Okay, sure, not everyone is going to like them, but if this sounds even vaguely intriguing to you, check out one or two of their songs. Particular favourites of mine (links to YouTube videos):
If you want to check out the full albums, they're available on iTunes.
