Hypotheticals are good like that.
Hypothetically, I could be writing this while relaxing on a beach in Tahiti.
One time my wife won a week's accommodation package in Tahiti, and we were all planning to go. However the prize didn't include airfares[1]. When we found out how much it cost to fly from Sydney to Tahiti, we realised that we could have a three week holiday in Europe, paying for the airfares and accommodation for less expense. And since we both enjoy cultural stuff over lying on a beach, we decided to do that instead, and forfeit the free accommodation in Tahiti.
[1] She worked for an airline at the time. They often gave out prizes like this to staff - I guess to encourage you to buy airfares.
