Hypotheticals are good like that.
Hypothetically, I could be writing this while relaxing on a beach in Tahiti.
One time my wife won a week's accommodation package in Tahiti, and we were all planning to go. However the prize didn't include airfares. When we found out how much it cost to fly from Sydney to Tahiti, we realised that we could have a three week holiday in Europe, paying for the airfares and accommodation for less expense. And since we both enjoy cultural stuff over lying on a beach, we decided to do that instead, and forfeit the free accommodation in Tahiti.
She worked for an airline at the time. They often gave out prizes like this to staff - I guess to encourage you to buy airfares.
