I was careful to have Professor Jones state that both Pop and Monty were more than a third of an archaeologist each, but not much more than a third in the case of Monty. Three eighths is a mere 1/24 more than a third.

A twenty-fourth of an archaeologist is roughly Howard Carter's left foot, from about the middle of the shin down.
