2020-03-14 Rerun commentary: This comic was published almost three years before the release of the film version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, in which Molly Weasley (of all people) has a line almost the same as the one used in this comic.

However, the comic came a year after the release of the novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which contains the same Molly Weasley line as used in the film. So this comic was not in any way prescient, but rather was made using the inspiration provided by J. K. Rowling herself.

So if you're upset by the swearing in this strip, blame the most popular children's author in the world.
